I highly recommend Procoat Painting.
After interviewing 5 vendors and getting quotes based on a twenty item job list, we decided on Procoat Painting.
I also checked with the BBB, CSLB for licensing and insurance status plus checked out their reviews on Yelp, Google and Angi. I wanted to see a large number of current reviews with examples and Procoat passed with flying colors.
Ace Dion, our Project Manager, was the first person we met and the last one we worked with. He is reliable, up front and takes care of any concerns and issues.
Elijah is a Stucco Artist. He was able to completely blend in the stucco repair we had done by another contractor so that we could not tell where they were.
Juan S. and Juan P. were our primary painters and I can only say they were great. They worked efficiently and would double back to take care of any touch ups.
Nelson we met on the first day of work for power washing and the final day to replace trim work and to do the final paint touch up. He was very agreeable and willing to go the extra mile to assure we were completely satisfied.

We worked with Procoat Painting for an exterior paint job in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Michael and his entire team were great from start to finish. Working with them and getting questions answered in the estimating process was simple and straightforward. Their team finished a few days early and they even fixed some stucco that was cracked while on the paint job. The communication was amazing and I was kept up to speed during the job. Four weeks ago, I had my two story home and detached shed painted by Procoat Painting. The house also required stucco repairs in multiple places due to age and weathering. It was the most STRESS-FREE, pleasant experience I have ever had with anyone doing work at my home be it landscaping, remodeling, general repair, etc. From my first visit with Ace, our project manager, to the final inspection, I felt heard, respected, and genuinely taken care of.
Ace is extremely knowledgeable and was hands-on from the initial visitation to the end of the project. This isn’t a job to him, it is a career (and yes, there is a difference). He oversaw every aspect of the project and if it didn’t meet his expectations it was fixed. His goal is a top notch job and a smile on the customer’s face start to finish.
The crew from prep work, stucco repair, painting to clean-up is bar none, the best. They were all very friendly, polite and patient with my many questions and interruptions. There was a slight mishap with the garage door, a broken pane of glass. Work stopped right then, Mike the painter, immediately went to get a replace pane, installed it and continued painting within 1/2 hour. Elisha’s stucco and repair work is the best I have every seen. His attention to detail is amazing. He found things that didn’t meet his expectations, that needed fixing, that I didn’t even see.
As a skeptic of on-line reviews, take it from me, this is true and sincere. I do, without hesitation, highly recommend Procoat Painting.
