Caution should be exercised when considering this particular company for employment. It has been my personal experience that the production manager can exhibit a strict approach, potentially resulting in termination without clear communication. It is advisable to ensure that any interactions with the manager are conducted with utmost care, as even minor issues might lead to an unexpected end to one's employment. During my tenure at the recently established Victorian factory, I diligently performed my duties to the best of my abilities. My responsibilities included serving as an administrator and acting as a liaison with the head office in QLD. On a seemingly ordinary day, I received a call from the employment agency overseeing the hiring process for Two, informing me of my dismissal. They cited "insufficient production volume" as the reason for this decision, which was perplexing considering that I had recently discussed with the production manager their plans to increase production in Victoria. Naturally, I was looking forward to this development. In an attempt to seek clarification regarding the circumstances leading to my termination, I reached out to the production manager whom I reported to. Regrettably, I have yet to receive a response from them. The factory environment was marked by chaos, characterized by faulty equipment that required my intervention to rectify. Additionally, there was a lack of proper guidance and management. To compound matters, the company had not disclosed to their dealers that blinds were now being manufactured in Victoria. As a result, we, the new recruits to the blind-making industry, were expected to produce flawless blinds within the usual timeframes to avoid arousing suspicion. Despite these challenges, I dedicated myself to bringing some semblance of order to the factory. I feel disillusioned and exploited, and I believe that both myself and my colleagues, who were working alongside me at that time, were similarly let go without adequate explanation or discussion. Considering my experience, it is my recommendation that individuals seeking long-term careers carefully evaluate other employment options before considering this particular company. If choosing to pursue work at TWO Australia, it would be prudent to maintain a secondary, more secure job to supplement any income earned from them. Update: I recently happened to be in the right place at the right time to whitness one of my colleagues hired by the same agency continuing to work for this company accompanying a delivery driver in a TWO branded van. This is despite being told that "we had to let go of all of our casuals".
