Our inspirational piece for the day comes from Crk Interior Architecture. Located in Istanbul, Turkey, Crk Interior Architecture has been at the forefront of first-rate designs since the company was founded in 2017 by professional architect Oğuzhan Yılmaz.

Working with the concept that architecture, like art, has the power to influence and shape our lives and routines, the experts at Crk Interior Architecture ensure that every completed project is as near and dear to the client’s heart (and ticks all the relevant boxes like ‘comfort’, ‘practicality’, ‘efficient’, ‘visually stylish’, and many others) as it is to the professionals in charge.

And when working with Crk Interior Architecture, clients are also privy to a range of other services to aid in the success of their projects. These include office designs, housing projects, cafe styles, restaurant designs, and much more.

Today, we take a break from viewing the regular residential projects and instead cross over to something more commercial in the form of the Sultan Ahmet Office Project.

Commercial, yet still creative

The scope of this project was to provide splendid designs for the offices of the boutique hotel built in Sultanahmet, the centre of old Istanbul. Words like ‘classical modern’ and ‘elegance’ were obviously used, seeing as this 3D rendering is the epitome of a modern-day office (with a touch of classical splendour added for effect) that not only knows how to take care of any deadline, but also knows how to put its most stylish foot forward.

The size of this working space? A delightful 8 × 3.5 × 6 m (Length, Height, Width).

All the necessary bells and whistles

Changing our viewing perspective, it becomes clearer that this design isn't just for show. Well it is in the sense that business associates and clients will be most impressed as soon as they walk in here for a meeting, yet top-notch functionality is the main aim of this design game.

Case in point, the various features that aid in this space functioning perfectly as a day-to-day working zone (like that wall-mounted television for online meetings and presentations, various cabinets and shelving to take care of clutter, appropriate lighting to aid in productiveness no matter what the time of day, etc.).

A soft, subtle style

Looking at this space from across the desk (the boss' perspective, if you will), we are most excited to welcome in a sliver of natural green in this otherwise neutral / earthy colour palette. Don't get us wrong, we absolutely love the different ways in which neutral- and earthy tints can make a space feel more expansive and modern (especially when paired with more ‘modern’ materials like glass and steel), yet one can't compare those wood-clad surfaces with the impressive pattern and texture of that brick-clad focal wall (showing off a very effective chevron motif, no less).

Another option to consider

What’s this? The exact same picture as the first? Look closer: it’s a different take on the office’s interior style, with most notably the floor and desk flaunting completely different materials (and colours and patterns) to subtly yet effectively influence the overall look of the office.

While you decide which one you’d prefer, let’s appreciate a few more visuals that further detail both magnificent designs.
