The Knightsbridge Townhouse is a unique contemporary blend of 18th century European décor with a stylish modern twist; a place of serenity amidst the busy London life.

This luxurious residential estate is designed and delivered by the award winning architectural practice “Prestige Architects” founded in 2009 by Marco Braghiroli.

Absolute symmetry

The interior of the Knightsbridge Townhouse showcases all of the unique qualities of classic design such as symmetry, elegant details, comfort, luxury and more.

The two bookcases which are positioned in perfect symmetry away from each other are separated by a fireplace embellished with rococo-inspired ornate patterns. A vintage chandelier is suspended with precision both at the centre of the room and in the middle of the fireplace and bookcases. Balance in architecture satisfies our human craving for symmetry and order, and by bringing together individual elements into a unified whole it leaves its residents with an enhanced sense of calmness and fulfillment.

Ethereal vintage chandeliers

The arched entrances to the two living rooms that face each other, in addition to the crystal chandeliers hanging from elegant ceiling medallions, will give you the feeling of being in a castle's ballroom. At the same time, the large ground-floor space which is at once unified and divided, will not only accommodate dinner parties and family gatherings but will also encourage social interactions, and will make every occasion memorable.

Attention to detail

Everything about the Knightsbridge Townhouse is made to steal the show and inspire praise.

In a world dominated by identical mass produced furniture, the built-in bookcases featured here are unique masterpieces with historical value that seem to tell a story. In an effortless manner, they transform the living space into a room with character, that speaks for itself and its owners.

Additionally, while the ornamental ceiling conforms to the classic style it remains minimal, keeping the overall design well balanced and avoiding an overwhelming extravagance.

Luxury and efficiency

The focal point of the master bathroom is undoubtedly the exquisite retro bathtub on metal legs embellished with decorative details that really give the room the desired luxurious classic look.

Here the classic is nevertheless sided with a hint of modern efficiency. The spacious shower rooms feature luxurious rain shower heads that can turn even rushed showers into enjoyable experiences.

Timeless marble

Nobody could resist the timeless look of sleek marble tiles and flooring. The smart choices of grey and stainless steel that dominate the room allow the colors and patterns of the marble to stand out, thus, making an even bigger impression. At the same time, the natural materials and neutral colors complement the overall earthy palette of the classic design which spans across the entire house.

Bathroom vanity

The contrasting black marble top gives the bathroom vanity a sharp look, while the vintage faucet and oval mirror give it a noble vibe.

An all-day special

A kitchen is the place where families start the day. It is where we spend quality time with those we love while preparing a meal, and where important conversations are often initiated and laid over ongoing tasks. It is therefore important to have a kitchen which can accommodate all that and more.

Prestige Architects have made sure that the kitchen has extensive counter surface and ample storage space that allows for food preparations to run smoothly. The mat grey cabinets are warmed up by the dark wood countertops, while the black tile backsplash gives it a fresh contemporary look.

However, the star in this room is the kitchen island; it is both practical and elegant, giving you the option to add tall chairs for morning coffees or late night work assignments with a glass of wine.

Laundry in style

Having a separate room for your laundry means that you isolate the mess, reduce the noise from extra appliances and have the additional and much-need storage area for specialized products and equipment.

The design of the laundry room features the same mat grey cabinets with beautiful brushed knobs, and a large utility sink that can contain the water from soaking clothes or the dirt from shoes and tools within the basin.

Classic minimal

With two large windows, the bedroom is flooded with natural light. The design in this room is kept minimal with neutral grey tones, and ceiling spotlights that can embrace your own stylistic choices.

Given that radiators can lack the aesthetic appeal that one needs in their home, the elegant covers that conceal them also enhance the stylish appearance of the room and does not allow them to disrupt its minimal look.
