House 516 is interior designers decorators by Studio Gritt, who are designers based out of Bangalore. This home combines Scandinavian design with beautiful geometric shapes too create a picture perfect home. The landscaping inside and outside the house is incorporated seamlessly into the design and the architecture of the home. Let’s take a walk through this house.

The front elevation

The front elevation is the perfect snapshot to show us what the home looks like and the design influences used by the designers. The use of contrite and wood, along with panels of plants looks gorgeous.

Bird’s eye view

The elevation view from the top shows us that there is a sloped roof, which wed will see inside the home. The home is three storeys, and each level has been designed with a unique concept. Then open and bright layout can be seen from here as well.

Perfection in design

The bedroom is absolutely perfect. A neat furniture arrangement, along with the grey walls and wooden elements make it a unique room. Everything from the bed frame to the grey wooden wardrobe is a new trend we see here.

Unique space separators

The space in the house has been used smartly. Therefore, no nook or cranny has been left empty to gather dust. This space on the landing of the first floor has been turned into a home office. This efficient use of space reflects the Scandinavian influence on the designers.

Beautiful kitchen layout

We absolutely love the open and airy kitchen, simply because it allows natural light to come in with the glass doors and windows. The open elevation means one can see right below. The indoor landscaping is visible from here, and it has taken an immense amount of time and patience to place each plant in its place.

Classy bathroom design

The bathroom matches the theme as well. With simple, textured pale blue walls, marble fittings and wooden furniture, this bathroom is no less than that of a five star luxury hotel.

Binding together elements perfectly

The most striking thing about this room is the use of marble finish tiles as well as hexagonal tiles in the living area. The comfy sofas and armchairs are scattered throughout the room, with a simple but elegant centre table.

Extraordinary furniture

As we mentioned, the furniture too is extraordinary. From the colour to the design, every piece is unique in its own way.

Sunny and bright outdoor seating

This is perhaps the most favourite part of the house for us. The outdoor dining table has a stove and a grill and a bar style seating area. The lush greenery, hanging lamps and wooden patio make this the best spot in the house.

Room with a view

The bedroom design we saw earlier is even more exceptional with this window shutters that open to give a wonderful view of the surroundings.

Details are important

No matter what the design, details are important in every single project. We love the use of wooden panels with designs in this bedroom. The flooring is also quite different from the usual marble finish tiles or wooden flooring.

Elegance in one picture

This picture sums up the home for us, with its wooden and glass staircase, indoor plantation and use of simple but effective designs.10 ideas for cladding bathroom walls.
