We have been having fun with this. The top was originally resting on top of another unit and made it rather useless.
So when I had just chopped the legs off these gym horses and was wondering where to put the feet, I turned to this desk and got busy – here is the result.
So the top is from a 1920s French Industrial unit and the legs are from some 1940's Czech Republic pommel horses. All with masses of natural patina – structurally very sturdy. One of the legs is not perfectly straight.
Perfect as a greeter table / waiter station in a restaurant.
