Space which expresses RIN ‘凛’ ‐a Japanese style created from the fusion of the old and new.
Culinary art Japanese restaurant serving creative Japanese cuisine. I made the space beyond the counter the main focus and arranged its traditional Japanese kitchen furnishings randomly. The aim is to create a space where each item makes its own special statement. I erased the elements of the space, so as not to detract from the merits of the kitchen furnishings. To convey a Japanese atmosphere, my attention was paid to bringing out delicate and elegant detail. In this way, the air of RIN ‘凛’ ‐ robust yet refined elegance ‐is expressed. Furthermore, I arranged the space of “shade”, which calms the heart, both in the entrance passage and the garden beyond, so that you are gradually invited to a world different from the urban reality outside. With this arrangement, you appreciate the shade all the more and can enjoy it with all five senses.
