The company SAG France and the designer Franck Magné are launching the new French brand of contemporary urban furniture: OBJETS.PUBLICS.

SAG France, the French subsidiary of the international group SAG Motion, has developed a strong knowledge and experience with sheet metal working for several decades. SAG Motion is the world leader in its field.

Designer Franck Magné has developed a unique urban street furniture style for public and semi-public areas with the most talented developers and architects.

Sharing the same vision of public area, they have combined their strengths and their sensitivity to create Objets.Publics.

Philosophy:

By becoming urban, furniture stands strong. We believe that public objects build a visual dialogue with their environment. They reflect colors, inspire their aesthetic of contemporary architecture.

 AG France and Franck Magné are convinced that furniture suggests its their functionality in a public area which is saturated with signs.

As cities are developing friendly and soft modes of transport and are becoming slower, we see public objects as object s of contemplation.

OBJETS.PUBLICS. designs, manufactures and offers furniture for public and semi-public areas and presents, at the Paris Design Week its collection of furniture-signs made of sheet metal.

Bin Froissé

Froissé is the result of the approach developed together by Franck Magné and SAG France.

From the first one, Froissé keeps the affordance, this ability to imply spontaneously the functionality, and the destructured architecture which shows so many profiles from different points of view.

From the second one, Froissé receives a high quality manufacturing and process optimisation to build sustainable and customisable furniture at the best price.

Froissé can be made with coated steel sheet in a wide pallet of colours or with electro-polished stainless steel and its unbelievable blur.

This sculptural object is also functional and can be used with 100L bags.

Ashtray Manques

More than a stylistic unity with Froissé, Manques evokes a burned cigarette with the principles of affordance.

As both an object and a sign , Manques spontaneously conjures its functionality in the Babylonian confusion of our public area.

This project has been designed by Franck Magné for the outside of municipal buildings. Manques has benefited from the expertise and the know-how of SAG France and has become reality.

Manques can be made in coated steel sheet or in electro-polished stainless steel.

High bar table Graal

Designed for stadium boxes, Graal takes up the appearance of a Winner’s  cup in a destructured version.

Its triangulated architecture shows the reflection of its inner light.

Graal is a contemporary answer with elegant table and guaranteed conviviality.

Designed to be customisable in colors and marking, Graal is made in coated steel sheet with wood plate.

Froissé, Manques and Graal are made in France by SAG France and are already available.
